How long does it take to finish a sculpture or memorial?

The difficulty of each piece and the amount of clay that is being dried and fired determine the time-frame.
The full process may take several months. I assure you it is well worth it.
I work in the order received and ship as soon as the paint is safely cured.

How much do you charge for a cat or dog sculpture?

The charge is $675 including all materials, shipping and handling domestic for the lower 48 states.
Contact me if you would like international shipping rates.

  How is the payment processed?

All online payments are processed via Paypal. If you do not feel comfortable with
a payment online please contact me for my address as I also accept personal/cashiers
checks or money orders.

What if I don't have digital pictures of my pet?

If you do not have digital pictures you may send photographs of your pet or pictures of
a specific breed or markings. Your description of your special companion is invaluable in capturing their personality.
Any original photos entrusted to me will be kept safe in an album while they are used as reference and
returned safe with your sculpture.

What kind of discounts do you offer?

If you have received a discount offer from one of my local displays, please call or
send and email for instructions on how to use the discount.

Do you do any charity work?

If you work with a shelter or other charitable fund in which you feel one of my works
may raise animal awareness, please contact me about  donor memorial sculptures.

How do I know what my sculpture will look like?

During several defining stages of sculpting and painting you will be sent pictures of
the work in progress and be given adequate time to respond if you have questions,
concerns or suggestions.

What is the compartment for and how do I seal it?

Each memorial is created with a custom bottom made from plexiglass and is padded with felt to prevent scratching of surfaces and shipped with a secure yet removable sealant.
The compartment of the sculpture body can then be used to store mementos, toys or pictures of your pet.
I have designed each pet sculpture so that if you wish, you may inter your dog or cat's cremains after they
have passed.

Can I remove the seal of the compartment without breaking the sculpture?

The seal can be removed by gently pulling it from the bottom of the memorial.
It can be resealed if needed by peeling the silicon off and reapplying fresh.

Is it big enough to hold my pet's cremains?

Every sculpture is large enough to hold even the largest dog's cremains.

Can the memorial sculptures be placed outside?

The paints that are used to create the likeness of your pet are not created to withstand exposure to the elements.
However, if you request ahead of time, you may select a quality single colored glaze and the seal would be
designed to permanently protect your pet's cremains from exposure
.

  What is your return policy?

Each cat and dog sculpture will be created in the likeness of your individual pet and you will be sent
photos as it is created. For that reason, if at any time before the firing process you are dissatisfied, you may request a refund, less materials costs
.
